Where was I and what was me?
I lost it in my sleep.
I ran naked into the night
Wandering through my mind.
There the Earth, she gladdened me,
With her grasses ‘neath my feet.
And there the Earth, she beckoned me,
Her heart opened to me.

My glazed eyes lifted to the heavens,
Her stars glowed back at me.
I spoke right then into the night,
Her breeze whispered back to me.
I asked Earth for more wisdom,
An owl called back to me.
Then I sang into the woods,
Her song came back to me.

It was me coming back to me.

That everything is me.
Everywhere I’ll ever go,
And all I’ll hear and see.
Everything in the universe,
is simply more of me.

Trees whizzed past, in a blur
As I felt my body spin.
Through the sky the stars whirled,
As their fire raged within.
The grass laid down against my skin,
Wetting my feet with green.
I danced till sunrise filled my eyes,
With colors I’d never seen.


And then I knew, I really knew
It was me coming back to me.
And then I knew I really knew
That everything is me.
Everywhere I’ll ever go,
And all I’ll hear and see.
Everything in the universe,
is simply more of me.


Earth, Sun, Sky and Sea is simply more of me.

Everything in the universe is me coming back to me.
